What is AvantGardeTimes?

AvantGardeTimes represents the neo-progressive ARTiculate forefront of BRainbow XSpectrum visualization. Published every 3 months, the inaugural issue, due out March 1st, features as its integrated theme: "Illusions - the Mirages of Hope." The editors intend to play with perceived expectations, broading perspectives through a Showcase of Optical Illusions, hoping to stimulate open minds to look at things in more than one way and to think and
then rethink again and again.

What can I submit?

Whatever you want to submit. The purpose of the ezine is to bring to the fore works that are experimental and go to the edge of convention. If going to the edge it crosses over into the abyss, so much the better. It is going to showcase the unconventional. So as to what you can contribute, contribute anything that comes from your creativity.

Is this a literary only ezine?

No. Photographs, pictures, sound, music, spoken word. If you can submit it we can post it.

What's the purpose of this wiki?

This wiki is the community page of the ezine. Here you will find news, release dates and information, calls for submissions plus samples of upcoming issues. If you become a member you can enter into the discussion and have some fun.

Who is (are) the people behind this?

The evil geniuses behind it are co-editors Paul Gilbert and Dr. Charles Frederickson. The latter in particular is the inspiration of this resurrection.

How often will the ezine come out?

The plan is once every three months commencing on March 1st. So about four issues a year.
